Pretty sure some of them wouldn't of stayed on the pitch after the final whistle if they had the choice

You fishing? This has been an awful season. My son and I waited for the lap of whatever...
18 players came out for a half-arsed wander that matched the half-arsed season we have suffered. And why would I want to applaud Sakho? Or Tore? Or Snodgrass?
I am a long-term fan. I will clap when the team deserve it. Bollocks to saluting mediocrity.

It reminded me of a couple of seasons ago when Allardyce shooed the players around the pitch in a circle with a radius of about 30m.
He was gone the next week
Think the owners used to come on the pitch and speak to the fans at some point. Probably didn't want to get booed so left it all to the ground announcer

why should people stand there and applaud when they just lost 90 minutes of their lives and god knows how much money watching that dreadful effort. They don't deserve it over the course of the season and certainly not today. It's not that supporters don't care, but the club need to know that it's not acceptable to them to pay that kind of money to watch embarrassing defeats in the manner of which we saw today.
